Social Studies

SocialStudiesWhile learning about our scientific place in the universe, students also have the opportunity to find out about our social place in the spectrum.

Central's Social Studies Department instructs all grade levels in areas such as geography, local, state, national and international history, sociology, psychology, economics and government.

All students are required to take and pass some social studies courses, which have included American Government, History, Economics, Consumer Law or Money Class and a social studies elective.

Attention currently enrolled 10th, 11th and 12th grade CHS students!  Central High School is offering an outstanding opportunity for you to travel to Germany in June of 2015.  The final day to enroll is Sept. 30th!
