New Students

  • August 12 & 13, 2019 (appointsment times between 8am-11:
  • Call 989-891-0614 to schedule an appointment with your counselor.  Counselors are assigned by the first initial of student's last name.  Click here to find out who your counselor is.
  • Appointment will last approximately 1/2 hour.

Seniors, Juniors & Sophomores - Schedules will be available on your Skyward account after DATE TBD.  You may also come into the school office to get a printed copy of your schedule after DATE TBD.  There will not be an open registration as there had been in the past.  You will get your books with your classes the first few days of school.

  • Seniors (Class of 2020)
    • *A special senior picture date has been set aside for all 12th graders which will be used in the Yearbook. ***Wednesday, October 16, 2019***

Freshmen (Class of 2023) - Thursday, August 15, 2019

  • All incoming 9th graders (Class of 2023) *student only function
  • Time:  8:30 am with free breakfast served in the cafeteria
  • Starting in the Large Gym at 9 am
  • Students are responsible for their own transportation and will receive their schedule on this day
  • Wear comfortable clothing for a very active day
  • Leave book bags and purse at home

 

School pictures will be taken for every student whether purchasing them or not for a student ID.  ID will be printed that same day.  Picture day for all students is September 4, 2019.


 

If you are new to Bay City Public Schools and registering at Bay City Central High School you will need to know the following information:

  • If you live outside the district a School of Choice - Section 105 or 105C form must be completed and approved by Principal Marciniak.
  • If you live in the Western High School district but would like to attend Central High School a Building Choice Request form must be completed and also approved by Principal Marciniak.

 

You must have the following items completed, signed and turned into our Registrar's Office before your appointment:     

  1. Copy of:  Transcript of student's grades from prior school
  2. Copy of:  Current report card
  3. Copy of:  Exit report card
  4. Copy of:  Attendance sheet
  5. Copy of:  Original Birth Certificate
  6. Copy of:  Immunization Record
  7. Proof of Residency (i.e. driver's license, utility bill, lease, etc.)
  8. Completed:  BCPS Registration Questionnaire
  9. Completed:  BCPS Home Language Survey
  10. Completed:  Student Residency Statement Form
  11. Completed:  Concussion Awareness Form
  12. Completed:  Special Education Transfer Student - Parent Permission Form (if applicable)
  13. Completed:  Sports Interest Form (if interested)
  14. Transfer Information Form (included with registration packet)
  15. Transportation Busing Form (information below and include with registration packet)

You may bring your completed and signed forms with you on your appointment day; however, we prefer that you drop them off or mail to:

If your student will need to ride a bus to and from school next year it is vital that you complete and return the "
Student Transportation/DayCare/Shared-Custody form for the upcoming school year" included in the registration packet and found on the Transportation Department website.  For further assistance please contact the Transportation Dispatch office at 989.662-4416.  These forms are also on the District's Enrollment Information page (link above).
